Today is the sixth anniversary of my Dear Mother's passing
We all miss you Mom. I think about you so often. These thoughts keep you with me. Times I have thought I want to call you to tell you something. I just look at this photo of you that sits on a shelf in front of my desk and I talk to you anyway. I wish I could do like my sweet little niece said on the day you passed "Just send Grandma Great a Text in Heaven"

What a nice picture of your beautiful mother! I know how you feel about missing a parent-my dad died almost 10 years ago, and I keep a photo of him on my nightstand. I talk to him at times, too. Many times over the years, my sisters and I find pennies in unlikely places, or at important times, and I think this is my dad's way of letting us know that he is watching over all of us. Pennies from heaven . . .
Your mom was gorgeous sweetie, and I know you miss her so, but we as children of God know that we will see our mom's again one day...God always keeps his promises...my heart feels your pain, and your joy!!! love ya.
Beautiful photo of a beautiful mom! It's so nice you have it right near your desk. Was that a college graduation photo? It looks like the ones my older sisters had taken when they graduated. I love your blog and I'm sorry it's been so long since I stopped by. I'm trying to do better!
