Why the Rooster?
That is my husband's nickname.
The bone marrow biopsy was done today and all went smooth with hardly any pain. It only took about 30 minutes. They make a small incision on the back near the tail bone. Then they make a small hole in the bone and draw out a small piece of bone marrow to be tested. He only has a large size band-aid covering the biopsy area. He must lie flat with pressure on that area for 24 hours and of course watch for any bleeding. We are home and resting and will have the results of the biopsy on Tuesday (hopefully).
Rooster said he felt the needle but nothing after that.
Thanks to all of you that left comments of support through this ordeal.
I will keep you all posted. Please continue praying for us.
Hugs and God Bless you all

I'm so glad it wasn't very painful, and I'll definitely keep you both in my thoughts! I'll be waiting to see the results, too.
I agree with what the others said.
Keeping you both in my praying.

My! such a relief it could be such a simple, one stop procedure! Such things were agony before! And who needs that sort of worry?
Take good care of you and your patient Rooster.
Prayers
Rose
So glad it didn't hurt too much. I continue to have you both in my prayers!
My ex-best friend was called Rooster LOL
