MEMORIAL DAY

A day to remember those that have passed away.

We have memories, we have pictures and we remember....

Our family members, friends and acquaintances....

Our soldiers that have had their lives taken away in war....

We miss them and feel such sorrow but we will always have the memories.

I lost my Father when I was 7 years old and wonder often what he would be like today. I wonder what he would think of me and what he would think of his grandchildren. I lost him at such a very young age and I have so many questions I would love to ask him.

I lost my Mother just this past February and I miss our phone calls more than I thought. Even at my age I still have questions that I need to ask Mom.

I have lost many dear friends and numerous relatives over the years and I miss them all.

Happy Memorial Day ? Yes, because we have memories not today but every day !

Patti,

Beautiful tribute...today my thoughts and prayers are also with families who have lost their loved ones who proudly served their country.

Since I lost my Dad when I was 4 and 1/2, I always gave my Mom a Father's Day card too...as she was both!

Love,
Debbie

Patti, I use a Kodak Z1275 Easy Share Digital. It isn't the best but it has been a good camera for me. I want to get a better one someday soon.
Because I want more zoom and better night pictures.
I will e-mail you Dad's address.
xoxo Nita

Just stopped by and was catching up on your blog. I love this picture of the soldiers. Did you create it? It's really beautiful. I'm so sorry you lost your dad at such a young age. I lost mine just 4 years ago and it seems like yesterday to me. I'm sorry about your mom--I am fortunate to have my mom still with us, but she has dementia, so it's sort of like she's here, but not here, if you know what I mean. Take good care, Jann
