MOUNTAIN GOATS ARE PEOPLE TOO ??

 While I was in Las Vegas last month, on the way back from Hoover Dam we stopped at a park in Boulder City. The mountain goats come down from the hills to cool off.

The one standing on the bench must think he is a person!

 They congregate here and eat the green grass.

Can you see the heard lying in the shade here?

 You can actually walk right up to them and they don't run away

I would be a bit cautious if I had a child though since some of these goats have some pretty bit horns.

Some have been tagged and they are protected. I think they know this because they are very laid back and just go about their business of eating and resting

Hoover Dam

 While I was in Vegas my oldest Son took me to see the new bridge at Hoover Dam

 The drought in Vegas has caused the water lake to be down further usual, as you can see

 The last time I was actually at the dam was in 1996 on my honeymoon. The water was gushing over the dam then.

Lake Mead is still as beautiful but look how far down the water line is.

Meet the Rev Tony Garbarino

 This is my youngest Son Tony. I recently attended his graduation from Seminary. I am so proud of him. Theology has been his life for the past four years and now he has graduated with a Master and will soon be pastor of a congregation. I wish him all the best and where every God sends him I will be visiting that is for sure.
