DO MEMORIES POP INTO YOUR HEAD FOR NO REASON?

Why all of a sudden did memories of the street I lived on when I was a teen come to mind?
Out of the blue, there I was on that street named Banner where I lived with my parents and two little brothers.

I could visualize a sunny day and the houses that were on that street. The Black and White 1958 Chevy Belair the handsome boy on the corner owned and the family that lived next door and all of the kids names. There were seven of them and they all started with the letter "K".
Karl, Kevin, Karen, Kaylee, Kelsi, Kurk and Kenny and their last name was Kent! That is a lot of K's.

This was the house. 420 Banner in Nampa. Idaho, my home town.
My bedroom was downstairs. I snuck out the window one night to meet my boyfriend and when I returned home the garage door was open and all the lights were on. Needless to say, I was in big trouble!

Oh Patti, I love this post!! Memories pop into my head ALL the time! That's why I try to keep a little notebook and pen/pencil handy. And your childhood home is just darling! Mine is small like it, too. I can't remember if you've read my memoir or not. In it I write about that house and my neighbors. I remember almost every persons names, even the "grown ups!" Have a wonderful, blissful week!
