HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I have so much to be thankful for. I have a wonderful family, good friends, a fantastic husband and two dogs that fill my heart with happiness everyday.

I remember Thanksgiving as a child. All the Aunts Uncles and Cousins would gather at Grandmas and we would feast and then draw names for Christmas. It was so much fun and a very smart idea. Saves a lot of money and worry.

I will be cooking this year as my oldest Son David is coming to spend the day with us here in Coos Bay Oregon all the way from California. For that I am very Thankful. It is hard to be away from the family during the holidays.

Hope you all have a safe a beautiful Thanksgiving !

VETERAN'S DAY

In remembrance of all soldiers that have fought to keep American Free.

Thank You!

My Daddy, Cpl Frank Hilton Gale enlisted and served in WWII at the tender age of 15.
He fought in 5 major battles and was missing in action for 19 months.
Came down with Malaria while he was there and it weakened his heart.

He passed away from a heart attack at age 34. I was seven but I remember as if it were yesterday. I wish I could have just one day to talk to him. I was a Daddy's girl and I miss him.

Thank You Daddy and all that serve in these wars.

 I used to do a lot of mail art when I was just starting out in digital art. The mail art I did then was mixed media. No mess when you use digital.
