Good News !

My husband finally got some good news this week. He saw a pulmonolgist and took a breathing test.
It showed that he definitely has C.O.P.D.
That isn't the good news though. The doctor looked over his records for the past two years and saw how many times he has had pneumonia and that he has Leukemia and Lymphoma and said he would bet that the blood work would show the reason why.

He drew blood and told us he would call with the results. He explained that there is a certain factor in the immune system when you have leukemia that would show a low reading and that is probably why he continues to be sick. He told us that if this was the case, there is a drug he can get intravenously once a month to boost the immune system and that should solve the problem.

He called us within 2 hours and told us that he found the problem and it was that low reading in his immune system that was causing all of his problems. He is all set up to receive a drug to boost his immune system and he will start to feel better for the first time in two years.

We are hoping this is the answer. My question is why didn't his oncologist find this. She is supposed to be watching his leukemia/lymphoma. I guess we will find out when we see her next week.
For now he is relieved knowing why he has been so sick.

Thank you Jesus!

A Speical Gift For My Granddaughter

Last week my oldest granddaughter called me and ask me to make her a tin with the theme Paris.
She just moved into a bigger place and she also just gave birth to my second Great grandchild.
She wanted the tine to put in her dinning room.
This is what I created for her. It is a larger tin than I usually make but it was fun to create for her.

I ask her if she would like some collages in frames to hang on her wall.

She said yes one 8x10 and one 5x7, so I created two collages and put them in frames.
I mailed them to her and she text me today and said she loves them very much.

PROUD TO ANNOUNCE

Since 2007 I have been active in the digital network world. I started with mixed media and then after a couple of years I picked up some tips and taught myself Photoshop. I was hooked.

I joined a few .Ning sites , ZNE, Creative Souls and Digital Whisper.  With the tutorials and challenges these sites have weekly, I learned so much. I was on my way. Could I say that I am a digital artist? I practiced and had fun doing all the challenges. Mostly I learned from Digital Whisper and Kimmie Draper.

I was part of the administration team at Digital Whisper as well as Creative Souls doing interviews with artists and approving new members.

Over the past 6 years I have made a name for myself in the digital art world and I am very proud of that.

Sadly last year the site had to close due to lack of interest because in the administration there were deaths, illness, broken bones and alot of personal issues that kept the site from growing. One person cannot do it alone.

A few weeks ago I found out that Digital Whisper was still there just not active. After some detailed conversation with the owner of the site I was asked to take it over.

So I am very proud to announce that I am the new owner of Digital Whisper.

New management and reconstruction of the site will take me a couple of months at the most but I will keep you all posted.

A Reason, Season or a Lifetime

I'm sending this to you to see how
Many actually read their e-mail.

Your response will be interesting.

Pay attention to what you read.

After you have finished reading it, you will know the reason it was
Sent to you..

Here goes:

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that
Person...

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need
You have expressed.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with
Guidance and support,

To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,

This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an
End.

Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.

Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire
Fulfilled, their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has
Come to share, grow or learn.

They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.

They may teach you something you have never done..

They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy..

Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,

Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional
Foundation..

Your job is to accept the lesson,

Love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other
Relationships and areas of your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life,

Whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime..

Send this
To every friend that you have on-line,

Including the person who sent it to you.

0 Replies - you may need to work on your 'people skills'

2 Replies - you are nice but probably need to be more outgoing

4 Replies - you have picked your friends well!

6 Replies - you are downright popular

8 Replies or More - you are totally awesome

(and that's probably why you're on MY list)

Your turn now...
Even if I only get one reply
I know I am blessed in many ways

I Hope you all know you are special to me
Today
Tomorrow
and for
 Always..
Hugs

Amazing

I look at this little baby and feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family.  I am blessed with my three sons who have given me beautiful grandchildren and now I am a GREAT Grandmother for the second time!
Priceless photo of big sister and her baby brother.

I started my family at age 15 and I can honestly say I am not sorry. Just look, I am 64 years old and still young enough to enjoy my great grandchildren.

This past year has been a hard one for my husband with his constant illness but looks like he is recovering pretty good. The chest Xray shows improvement and his blood work is excellent now. If I sound doubtful it is because this evil pneumonia keeps coming back. I honestly thought this last time that I would lose him. He was a critically ill man.

It is a horrible lost feeling. So many questions unanswered, so many things left to say. It is a touchy subject to talk about death but this weekend my husband and I had a long talk about this. It is important I feel to know your loved ones wishes and if you have doubts about anything you need to address them while they are alive and not try to guess.

I am talking about silly things I guess but to me it was important. We retired and moved away from our children 6 years ago. I wondered how he would feel if I sold the house he bought for me and moved so I could be closer to our children in my older years.

He is a collector of many things. What would I do with his collections? What would I do with his tools?
These things seem small until you are faced with the reality that you loved one may not be here tomorrow and that is when it hits you.

I am so glad we talked and I urge you to do the same. This advice was given to me by a dear friend that lost her husband when her children were very small.

So for today, I am happy to say that Alan is recovering and will soon be back to his normal self.
We are blessed with a beautiful family and friends that love and support us . Thanks to all for your prayers. Prayer does work.

I am looking forward to a Happy New Year. We plan to go to the Browning Museum in Salt Lake Utah this summer, My husband is a gun nut and Browning is his favorite. I will be planning a trip to meet our new Great Grandson as well as the rest of the family in October.

I have lots of new things planned for my Etsy shop and want to keep up with my blog more often than this past year. I still think blogging is so much more personal that Facebook.

God Bless all of you and thanks again for the prayers.
Happy New Year!
