GOOD NEWS & A NEW COLLAGE

Well it has been a week since I had to call the animal control officer. She came and put a warning on our neighbors door about the pit bull puppies. He told me that if things did not change he would fine the owner and if there was nothing done then she would have to file a civil complaint in our honor.

I saw Maylee on Sunday afternoon but she stayed close to her house and she wasn't out for more than an hour. I did see the black puppy but he was staying near the owner of the house.

Today the owner of the black puppy and her Father moved out. There were two Fathers and two daughters living there. This makes me wonder if it had something to do with the black puppy because this man's daughter is the owner of this pup and it is the one that never had tags or a collar and was left alone to run all over the neighborhood with a rope tied around his little neck which by the way the office saw this when she came out to give the warning. She said the puppy was about a mile up the road when she came in.

I think the young girl that owns Maylee cares because since my talk with her and the warning the puppy is being kept from running loose.

This is good news. I am happy Maylee's Mommy loves her enough to be responsible. I fear for the future of the little black pup but I am glad he is not living in my neighborhood any longer.

Thanks for all you input, it helped me make a hard decision but I think it turned out for the best.

I almost forgot to show you my new collage. I call it
"She sees the Light"

WHAT A CARING HEART YOU HAVE PATTI. YOUR WORDS AND CONCERN ARE VERY TOUCHING. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR STORY AND I'M GLAD IT MIGHT BE GETTING BETTER IN YOUR AREA WITH THE DOGS. WHERE I LIVE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DUMPING BIG DOGS :( IT IS SAD, THE PRICES OF DOG FOOD AND CARE FOR THEM KEEPS GOING UP AND PEOPLE JUST CAN'T KEEP A LOT OF DOGS ANYMORE, ESPECIALLY THOSE BIG ONE'S. THE HUMANE SOCIETY HAS TO BE CALLED AND THEY GET PICKED UP AND I THINK NOT TOO GOOD A CHANCE ALOT OF THE BIG , SORTA MEAN DOGS DON'T GET ADOPTED. IT MAKES ME SAD.

HEY I GAVE YOU A AWARD FOR YOUR BLOG, PLEASE VISIT MINE AND COLLECT IT...

I JUST KNOW YOUR 4TH WILL BE GRAND, I WISH I COULD COME AND VISIT, WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR DAYS DISCO DANCING BUT PLEASE KNOW HOW MUCH YOU MEAN TO ME - I KEEP YOU IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

Hi Patti,

I am so glad that it is looking like things are rectified. I know how stressful that can all be. I'm sure that all will be well now.

What you did probably saved everyone from possible future issues.

The butterflies and roses are especially beautiful in your collage:)

I know that must have been difficult, but necessary. Too many dogs are left to run, and it's against the law for one thing, but dangerous for them and for others. I love your lady...couse I always love what you create!!! Have a safe and happy 4th!!!
(((hugs)))

Glad the dog situation has improved. It's so hard to be in conflict with neighbors, and so hard to see poor animals mistreated or neglected.
