MY DADDY

In honor of my Daddy who's birthday is today. I have created this digital collage. I lost my Daddy in 1957. I was only 7 years old and he was only 34 years old. He would have been 88 years old today.

This was his favorite song.
So in honor of his birthday and Father's Day on Sunday ....

Love you Daddy and I miss you!

Such a wonderful collage Patti! The layers are just wonderful. You've gotten so good at this. I'm sure your father would be impressed. Thanks for stopping by. I'm hanging in there but that's been about it. I don't seem motivated to do much. Hopefully I feel creative soon. Thanks for asking.

Memoral Eternal !

You lost your Dad the year I was born. I had my Dad till he was 52, a little bit longer, but not long enough. I am so sorry for your early loss. He sounds like a wonderful man and father.

I now know that when we lose these precious gifts so early, that it is for a reason. Your heart is so big Patti, because of what you lost. But, I am sure that you had way more than others do for a whole lifetime. I know that I certainly did.

ps- I loved Billie Holiday when a teenager, because of Lady Sings the Blues, I got into her. I can sing most of the songs, thanks to Diana Ross' versions.

Patti, Etsy went down. I went in and reserved your purchase but I am not sure it took yet. When I tried to convo you with the explanation, it said the site was down for repairs.

Basically, here is what I did. By etsy rules you have to sell something for no less than .20, so the item was 10.00 and gift cert. was $10 so I priced it at .20 and reduced the shipping from $2.00 to $1.80.

So if you go in and it says reserved for you, you can go ahead and purchase it. If it is not marked as reserved....let me know and I will redo it for you.

Thanks, Carole

Hi Patti,
I am so sorry for not being around, but I have been so busy with ART and family!
What a beautiful tribute to your father. He is very handsome!
That had to be extremely difficult to loose him at such an impressionable age! I lost my father when I was 34, an the void is always there.. but his memories last forever!
Hope you are feeling well and ready to rumble! hugs, love you, xo, Darlene xo
