This is my "pretty girl" granddaughter Angela Marie (middle name same as mine). She is 16 years old and learning to drive...poor Dad!

I ask her for a picture of her to print and put in a frame for my office. She sent this to me from her phone. A self portrait nonetheless. It looks foggy and strange but isn't it great? I love it!

Thanks Angela

I
received an email today that was VERY disturbing to me. It was sent to me from a dear friend. She could not believe this. Another friend didn't see the way we saw it.

Click on this link and let me know what you think. I know people think differently and hear things in different ways. I would really like to take a poll on what each of you think of this.

Here is a copy of the email. Click on the link to hear about the book.

You must watch this. It is disturbing.
It's like listening to Satan himself the way
they are twisting around the Word of God.
She has a rude awakening coming her way.

“The Church of Oprah” There is nothing new under the sun.
Genesis 3:4,5
4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman.
5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened,
and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

Man has always wanted to “be like God” from the very start.
That’s the way Satan wants us to believe. This new religion that Oprah
is hustling is nothing new. She is a heretic.
Please watch, it is worth your time. Make up your own mind.
This is really frightening in that so many millions of people are following her over the cliff!
This is right out of The Book of Revelations and the 'Left Behind' book series.
Watch this and see if you don't believe we're living in the End Time! Unbelievable!!

I have no idea whether or not we're living in end times--Jesus said even he doesn't know when that will occur. I get e-mails like this all the time, especially aimed at Barak Obama, Oprah, and others. One thing they all have in common is the use of fear to try to get us to come over to their side. Jesus told us we need not fear. It amazes me that people put so much emphasis on what name God is called. Are we absolutely positive his name is God? Oprah is right, as far as I'm concerned. God is Love--not politics and not fear, and certainly not jealousy. And there's only One Way, true. But there may be many vehicles in which to travel that Way and many names by which those vehicles are called. Put this e-mail out of your mind and do what I do. Put all future ones like this in your Trash. --Susan C. (A Christian)

I truly pray for all people who are hurting and searching for truth today. Christians Today need to truly focus on Christ ONLY, and not MAN!! Oprah to me doesn't stand for any religion or even believe in Jesus. How can we trust anything she says or anyone claiming to know God's word without truthfully believing and quoting the "Scriptures itself."

If Christians "Today, keep their eyes on Jesus, Then nothing else said, or any book written by man, should really matter other then the "HOLY BIBLE" RIGHT? The book of Psalms is the best book to give peace and comfort to any hurting soul Today!

Love,
Jeannene(a Christian Too!!)

It is scary! To think how far they can reach with modern technology and they seem so harmless or so people think. It saddens me that people don't step back and think about the words some people espouse. We just have to pray for our brothers and sisters in the name of Christ.

We as Christians need to Guard our hearts by Reading the Word and Seeking god in all things. If we are guarding our hearts than we will be able to recognize the enemy's tactics, such and this book Oprah is pushing.

Here are a few examples of the Names Of God:

ADONAI- Lord in our English Bibles

JEHOVAH- LORD in our English Bibles

Yahweh,- is the covenant name of God.

EL SHADDAI: God Almighty or "God All Sufficient.

And one of my favorite passages.

12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Satan is a real enemy, he comes to kill steal and Destroy us, he uses all mediums, Hate, Anger, TV, TALK SHOW HOSTS,

Let's then pray that the Lord reveals himself to Oprah and all who View her show so that they too will experience the peace that passes all understanding.

Love you

Lori

I read "My Stroke of Insight" in one sitting - I couldn't put it down. I laughed. I cried. It was a fantastic book (I heard it's a NYTimes Bestseller and I can see why!), but I also think it will be the start of a new, transformative Movement! No one wants to have a stroke as Jill Bolte Taylor did, but her experience can teach us all how to live better lives. Her TED.com speech was one of the most incredibly moving, stimulating, wonderful videos I've ever seen. Her Oprah Soul Series interviews were fascinating. They should make a movie of her life so everyone sees it. This is the Real Deal and gives me hope for humanity.
